Charlotte-based Company Acquires Orange Park Office Complex

Jacksonville Business Journal - October 17, 2018 - by Allison Colburn - full article here

Charlotte-based Lat Purser & Associates has purchased a four-building office complex in Orange Park for $6.7 million.

Wells Lake Commerce Center, located near the I-295 and U.S. 17 interchange at 320-350 Corporate Way, was developed in 1999. The buildings comprise 52,620 square feet of office space.

The previous owner, Stuart, Fl.-based Js Capital Management Inc., sunk $210,000 in improvements on the property last year. At the time of the sale, it was 75 percent leased. Tenants include Cemex, Engility Corp., Maple Street Biscuit Company, SQE and Wyle Laboratories. About 13,000 square feet of space is still available for lease.

“Our company has been looking for opportunities to grow its portfolio in Jacksonville, and with its proximity to major interstates and nearby hotels, retail and restaurants, Wells Lake Commerce Center was a great fit,” Scott Phillips, senior vice president of acquisitions for Lat Purser & Associates, said in a prepared statement.

The company's Jacksonville office will lease and manage the property.
