Calavo Growers, Inc. is Moving to Clay County

Calavo Growers has signed a lease for a 208,000 square foot distribution center in Green Cove Springs, FL, formerly Food Lion distribution. The new facility has a large refrigerated storage space with railroad tracks that run through the building. Calavo has committed to create 262 jobs within the first five years of tenancy which will significantly impact the local economy and surrounding region.
