Massachusetts has seen a net loss of $20 billion to other states, especially New Hampshire and Florida where taxes are much lower, the report warns.

Today, Florida Secretary of Commerce Jamal Sowell, president and CEO of Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI), joined other state economic development leaders to express support for the essential economic development tools proposed in Governor Ron DeSantis’ Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget proposal to the Florida Legislature.

Although other parts of Florida’s handling of the crisis have come under criticism, on the economy, when compared to other large-population states, especially New York and California, Florida is a boomtown.

The Florida Department of Education’s release of the 2019-2020 graduation rates shows that Clay County District Schools has achieved the highest graduation rate in its history at 93.4 percent!
